Register a new product:

• Contact your local official body that undertakes new product registrations, and obtain specific form for application (it may include some options from listed below);
• Provide your company’s name and address (the corporate phone number, mailing address, fax, and other attributes). If address on the label (identifying place of the product origin or manufacturing) is different than address on the application, then complete special section of the application for manufacturing label information;
• Confirm your trademark registration to approve your legal ownership of the name and brand. Register the desired product name (also its identity logos, graphics or designs) and verify that it is completely unique and inimitable in this market sector (normally there are certain limitations on product naming, so you need to lean them first);
• Attach copies of laboratory analyses as required (for each of different products being registered), which approve your product’s safety or certain status in terms of chemical, radiological and other types of health/life hazards;

• Verify the product’s labeling: make sure all product labels, marks, signs, and warning tags which are placed on packaging or product’s body are compliant with all related official requirements and regulations;
• Provide specific documentation (such as official quality certification) which proves that manufacturing processes deployed on your enterprise properly comply with the internationally or locally recognized quality standards, such as ISO certification;
• Approve availability of comprehensive user manuals and product safety documents which will work to ensure correct usage (minimal probability of misuse or a user’s injury) of your product by the ultimate customer;
• Provide information to legalize your product’s relation to certain already registered and active patents, so unique solutions and technologies used in your product can stay guarded against copycat attempts (as well as from “patent trolls”);
• If you refer to patents owned by third party (private persons or other companies), then you need to prove legality of your collaboration (provide copies of agreements);
• Claim special trade conditions and probably special taxation regime for your product: you may reach this by attesting your new product as one that falls within certain criteria which automatically make it supported by your government under framework of certain official programs (let’s say ecology protection programs may imply support of products with “green” technologies/features embedded);  
• If your product contains a dose of alcohol, tobacco, medicine components, etc, then you need to submit it to official alcohol, tobacco and drug control unit for additional checks, obtaining permits and licensing as required by your local policies;
